Job summary

Adams Thermal Systems, Inc. is seeking a Director of Quality to lead the Canton quality organization and drive the IATF 16949 quality system across manufacturing operations. You will partner with Operations and Engineering to resolve defects, implement robust processes, and ensure CSRs are met.

The role requires strategic quality leadership, auditing experience, and a strong track record of improving process capability and customer satisfaction in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Experience with automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans).
• Proven leadership in a manufacturing quality environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Canton Quality Department and mentor the quality team.
• Maintain IATF 16949 certification and support audits.
• Identify, interpret, and meet Customer-Specific Requirements (CSRs).
• Develop and monitor plant quality objectives and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and suppliers to improve quality.
