Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven, FL, is seeking a dedicated Quality Data Coordinator to join our Medical Records team. This role is on-site, full-time, with hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and requires strong data analysis, collection, and interpretation skills.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in a related field and has at least 2 years of medical records experience; RHIT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires associates degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years medical records experience onsite.
• RHIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical record review with a multi-disciplinary team and distribute results for recommendations/actions.
• Ensure quality of medical record health information by verifying accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Demonstrate skills in understanding, analyzing, collecting, and interpreting data.
• Support Health Information Management Committee/Medical Staff Services for timeliness, completion, and ongoing medical record activity.
• Liaise with external reporting agencies such as ACHA and Life Link.
