Job summary

BayCare in Florida is seeking a Quality Data Coordinator - Medical Records to work on-site on a full-time basis. You will coordinate medical record reviews with a multi-disciplinary team and distribute results for recommendations/actions.

You will verify the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of medical records and demonstrate strong skills in understanding, analyzing, collecting, and interpreting data. Experience with external reporting and HIP/medical staff liaison is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years medical records experience onsite.
• Associate degree in a related field.
• RHIT certification is recognized in the field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical record review with a multidisciplinary team and distribute results for recommendations/actions.
• Verify accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of medical records.
• Demonstrates skills in understanding, analyzing, collecting, and interpreting data.
• Support Health Information Management for timeliness, completion, and ongoing medical record activity.
• Liaise with external reporting agencies such as ACHA and Life Link.

The Quality Data Coordinator will work on-site on a full-time basis.

• The Quality Data Coordinator - Medical Records coordinates medical record review with a multi-disciplinary team and distributes results for recommendations/actions.
• Responsible to ensure quality of medical record health information by verifying the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
• Demonstrates strong skills in understanding, analyzing, collecting, and interpreting data.
• Responsible to the Health Information Management Committee/Medical Staff Services for Medical Staff compliance for timeliness, completion, and on-going medical record activity.
• Serves as a liaison with external reporting agencies i.e. ACHA and Life Link.
