Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Memphis is seeking a Part-Time Quality Coordinator (RN) to support the hospital's quality program. The role demands RN licensure and at least two years of clinical experience, preferably in LTACH or acute care, with experience in quality improvement, infection control, or survey readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the DQM with all aspects of the hospital quality program.
  • Assist with survey activities to maintain accreditation and licensure.
  • Assist with monthly interdisciplinary QAPI team meetings.
  • Assist with quarterly quality improvement report reviews.
  • Support Medical Director and Quality Program Director on quality activities.
  • Perform safety and EOC duties and monthly safety rounds.
  • Enter and analyze monthly quality data.
  • Assist with employee training and education.
  • Collaborate with leadership to meet reporting requirements.

Position: Quality Coordinator (RN)

Location: Memphis, TN

Schedule: Part-Time - 3 days per week - Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday - 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Compensation: $37.40 to $56.57 per hour

Responsibilities

Using discretion and independent judgment, the Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting the DQM with all aspects of the hospital quality program.

  • Assisting with survey activities to ensure that the facility maintains accreditation, certification and licensure.

  • Assisting with monthly interdisciplinary QAPI team meetings.

  • Assisting with reviews of quarterly quality improvement reports.

  • Assisting the Medical Director and Quality Program Director with development and implementation of medical staff quality improvement activities.

  • Performing all safety and EOC duties.

  • Performing monthly safety rounds and quality control surveillance.

  • Completing monthly quality related data entry, analysis and reporting.

  • Assisting with employee training and education in the work place.

  • Working with leadership team to ensure reporting requirements are met.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with valid state licensure

Preferred qualifications that will make you successful:

  • At least two years of clinical experience in LTACH or short term acute care preferred.

  • Previous experience with one major area of responsibility preferred (quality improvement risk management, infection control, or survey readiness).
