Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence is seeking a Part-Time Quality Coordinator (RN) to support the hospital quality program. The role involves assisting the DQM with survey readiness, quality improvement activities, and data reporting in a critical illness recovery setting in Florence.

The position requires an active RN license and experience in quality programs; LTACH or acute care experience is preferred. Join a team focused on excellent patient care and ongoing quality initiatives in a hospital

Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in quality programs within healthcare.
  • LTACH or acute care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with survey activities to maintain accreditation, certification and licensure.
  • Assist monthly interdisciplinary QAPI team meetings.
  • Assist reviews of quarterly quality improvement reports.
  • Assist with development and implementation of medical staff quality improvement activities with the Medical Director and Quality Program Director.
  • Perform all safety and EOC duties.
  • Perform monthly safety rounds and quality control surveillance.
  • Complete monthly quality data entry, analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with employee training and education in the workplace.
  • Work with leadership to ensure reporting requirements are met.

Role Responsibilities

Using discretion and independent judgment, the Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting the DQM with all aspects of the hospital quality program.

  • Assisting with survey activities to ensure that the facility maintains accreditation, certification and licensure.
  • Assisting with monthly interdisciplinary QAPI team meetings.
  • Assisting with reviews of quarterly quality improvement reports.
  • Assisting the Medical Director and Quality Program Director with development and implementation of medical staff quality improvement activities.
  • Performing all safety and EOC duties.
  • Performing monthly safety rounds and quality control surveillance.
  • Completing monthly quality related data entry, analysis and reporting.

Minimum Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with valid state licensure
Preferred Qualifications That Will Make You Successful
  • At least two years of clinical experience in LTACH or short term acute care preferred.
  • Previous experience with one major area of responsibility preferred (quality improvement risk management, infection control, or survey readiness).
