Job summary

Stephen Gould Corporation is seeking a Quality Coordinator to support our quality management system by maintaining documentation, handling audits, and coordinating quality-related activities across departments. The role ensures products, processes, and services meet internal standards as well as customer and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, or related areas.
• ISO 9001:2015 expertise.
• Internal auditing skills—planning, conducting, reporting and follow-up; familiarity with audit checklists and sampling.
• Document control & compliance: managing procedures, work instructions, records, and revision control.
• Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA): root cause analysis, 8D, and effectiveness verification.
• Communication & diplomacy: ability to interview auditees, explain findings, and influence without authority.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel—able to travel to other Midwest locations 4 times a year.
• Must be able to work out of the Whitestown, IN facility Monday through Friday 8am–5pm when not traveling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update quality documentation including SOPs, work instructions, forms, and training materials.
• Support internal audits by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and assisting auditors.
• Monitor nonconforming material reports (NCRs), CAPAs, and follow-up activities to ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate supplier quality issues and work with the procurement team to gather data or documentation as needed.
• Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions.
• Track quality metrics and prepare weekly/monthly reports for leadership.
• Support training initiatives related to quality processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards or other industry-specific quality requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Serve as liaison between production, engineering, operations, and quality leadership.

PositionSummary:

KeyResponsibilities:
