Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Pallet Quality Coordinator for our Fort Worth, Texas warehouse facility. The role involves inspecting pallets and packaging materials to ensure compliance with GMPs and customer specifications, with weekly pay on a 3rd shift schedule.

Training is provided and benefits are offered starting early in employment. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment in a safe warehouse environment, supporting US distribution.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications.
• Inspect products for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants prior to packaging.
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors with proper quality documentation as required.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure product quality to meet FDA, USDA, and customer guidelines.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Manufacturing and Construction positions pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $19/hour
• Schedule: 3rd Shift Friday - Sunday 4:30AM - 3:00PM and Monday 4:30PM - 3:00AM

Requirements

• Associate's Degree preferred
• High school diploma required
• Previous experience in food grade facility
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Maintain qualify to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
• Other duties as required or assigned
