Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Temporary to Permanent Warehouse Quality Coordinator in Hagerstown, Maryland. The role includes monitoring finished packaging codes, inspecting products for quality, and maintaining GMP compliance to meet FDA/USDA standards. Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a food-grade facility is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow GMPs and FDA/USDA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor finished packaging codes to specifications.
• Inspect products for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants prior to packaging.
• Perform timely quality checks to meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors with proper quality documentation as required.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure product quality meets FDA/USDA and customer guidelines.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour shift pay for 2nd shift
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Requirements

• Associate's Degree preferred
• High school diploma required
• Previous experience in food grade facility
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Maintain qualify to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
• Other duties as required or assigned
