Job summary

The successful candidate will apply and uphold quality standards, participate in audits, and support continuous improvement across the facility. Prior experience in QA within manufacturing or warehouse settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing or fast-paced warehouse preferred.
• Knowledge of inspection methods, techniques and documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Apply and maintain quality requirements and standards for development and manufacturing products.
• Serve as the primary QA resource to department supervisor(s) for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
• Execute and analyze quality-reporting measures.
• Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses.
• Participate in quality audits.
• Ensure product quality to meet customer, state, and federal guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $19.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay $29.25 per hour
• Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour
• Schedule: 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm - 6:30am and frequent overtime assigned on Weekends with short notice

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years or more in Manufacturing or fast paced warehouse preferred
• Knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
• Skills in math, personal computers, and spread sheets
