Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Wilmer, Texas is hiring a permanent full-time Quality Coordinator at our warehouse manufacturing facility. The role includes monitoring packaging codes, inspecting products for quality, and ensuring GMP compliance.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with weekly pay. Associates with an Associate's degree preferred and a high school diploma required are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal) required.
• Experience in GMP, FDA, USDA environments is preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor packaging codes per specifications.
• Inspect products for quality and remove defects/contaminants before packaging.
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors with proper quality documentation.
• Maintain GMP compliance and align with FDA/USDA standards.
• Ensure product quality meets customer and regulatory guidelines.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $17.25 per hour
• Additional Pay $0.25 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Requirements

• Associate's Degree preferred
• High school diploma required
• Previous experience in food grade facility
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Maintain qualify to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
• Other duties as required or assigned
