Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and determine quality and reliability standards
• Test products for dimensions, performance, and material characteristics
• Record data and apply SPC procedures
• Evaluate data and write deviation reports
• Suggest modifications to improve quality within equipment capabilities
• Set up and perform destructive and non-destructive tests
• Prepare graphs or enter data for analysis
• Maintain bluebooks, SPC charts, labels, and material sheets
• Keep records of dimensional checks during production
• Read blueprints and operate CMM and gauges
