Job summary

Silgan Dispensing is seeking a detail-oriented QA Inspector to inspect plastic components for dimensional accuracy and surface defects, and document findings. You will support process engineers and assist in rework projects as needed.

The role requires proficiency with measurement tools, data recording, and adherence to ISO and internal quality policies while working with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Requires careful eye for dimensional accuracy and surface defects in plastics.
• Ability to interpret part drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with measurement and QA tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article inspection including visual and dimensional analysis of molded components.
• Operate gauges and inspection equipment; apply standards from Quality Control Manual.
• Support Process Engineering with analyses such as Gauge R&R and DOE.
• Conduct audits of in-process inspection procedures for effectiveness.
• Assist manufacturing in troubleshooting quality-related issues.
