Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Lab Technician to join our quality lab team in the United States. This full-time role focuses on collecting and testing aggregate samples, loading ships with approved products, and recording data in our reporting system. A strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and timely data entry is required.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, basic computer and statistical knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Training through the MDOT/ODOT program is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Basic knowledge of statistics is helpful.
• Willingness to attend MDOT/ODOT Level I, II, and III Certified Aggregate Technician program.
• A clean driving record and good oral/written communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities safely.
• Collect samples.
• Perform routine testing of aggregate samples (quartering samples, gradations, washes, moistures and deleterious).
• Enter data into the aggregate quality reporting system.
• Load ships with spec products.
• Understand and monitor control charts.
