Quality Control Technician

Location: Northbrook, IL / On-Site

Shift: 1st Shift

Position Overview:

The Quality Control Technician reports to the Production Manager/Supervisor and conducts all necessary testing analysis to ensure specifications are met prior to product release by performing the following duties:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs required sample analysis, collection, prepping, assembly.
• Completes data entry of test results and maintains records.
• Responds to quality questions from customers and handles quality issues from supervisors and operators.
• Operates laboratory equipment; both manual and automatic.
• Processes incoming samples and assists in processing outgoing samples.
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated person.

Minimum Requirements:

• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports
