Job summary

SRM Concrete in Amarillo, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to help ensure our ready-mix concrete meets industry standards across commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.

You’ll perform routine testing of materials, interpret results, train production staff, and maintain accurate records, with on-the-job training for entry-level candidates and opportunities for growth within a values-driven, nationwide company.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Concrete Management, Construction Management, or related field preferred but not required.
• ACI certification or willingness to obtain it is a plus.
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished concrete using industry-standard methods.
• Interpret test results and compare them to specifications and control limits.
• Conduct visual inspections of concrete products to ensure quality standards.
