Job summary

SRM Concrete is hiring Quality Control Technicians to ensure concrete meets industry standards for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow in a nationwide company renowned for quality and service.

Role includes routine testing, data interpretation, and collaboration with production teams; shifts include day and overnight pours. Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply, with ACI certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; on-the-job training provided.
• Willingness to obtain ACI certification is a plus.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished ready mix concrete using industry-standard methods.
• Interpret test results and compare them to established specifications and control limits.
• Conduct visual inspections of concrete products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
• Deliver quality control training to production staff as directed by management or technical services.
• Maintain accurate records of tests, analyses, and quality-related activities.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to help improve our quality control processes.
