Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an ACI Strength Testing Technician to perform quality control tests on concrete and aggregate products, record results, and help resolve any quality issues at the plant and in the lab.

The role requires basic materials knowledge, the ability to follow instructions, and effective communication with dispatch, batch plant operations, drivers and QC personnel. Flex shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years of QC experience preferred.
• ACI Level 1 Certification Helpful.
• ACI Strength Testing Technician Helpful.
• WAQTC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Test concrete and aggregate products for quality and conformance to specs.
• Keep basic material records.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, batch plant operations, drivers, and QC personnel.
• Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.
