Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, seeks a Strength Testing Technician to perform concrete and aggregate testing and keep quality records. The role requires ability to follow instructions and communicate with dispatch, batch plant operations, and QC personnel.

Flexibility to work nights, swings, weekends, and holidays is needed. Ideal candidates will have high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years QC experience, and certifications such as WAQTC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years prior QC experience preferred.
• ACI Level 1 Certification helpful.
• ACI Strength Testing Technician helpful.
• WAQTC Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test concrete and aggregate products for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain basic material records.
• Follow verbal and written instructions; communicate with dispatch, batch plant operations, drivers, and QC personnel.
• Work flexible shifts including nights, swings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
