Job summary

CRH is seeking a Quality Control professional for an industrial manufacturing environment. The role involves routine testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate will perform compressive strength testing, participate in pour inspections, monitor operations, and report issues to management. ACI/PCI certification is preferred, with provision to obtain required certifications within 3 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Quality control experience in a related industry preferred.
• ACI/PCI Certification preferred or willing to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Assist with strip, setup, and pouring of products.
• Report to management on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
