Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Easton, PA to support production teams within the quality system. The role emphasizes following documented procedures and performing tests to verify product dimensions, performance, and material characteristics.

You will help ensure compliance with standards such as ASTM, NSF, and UL, record data, and contribute to continuous improvement while collaborating with operators to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

  • Operate within a documented quality system and follow work instructions accurately.
  • Experience performing destructive and nondestructive testing and interpreting results.
  • Strong attention to detail for recording test data and preparing charts.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items and follow safety policies.

  • Support the established quality policy and fulfill responsibilities in the quality system manual, directives, and work instructions.
  • Select products and prepare samples for tests at production stages, then test products for dimensions, performance, and material characteristics.
  • Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials to measure performance and characteristics.
  • Assure 100% compliance to standards including ASTM, NSF, UL, and others as required.
  • Record test data, apply statistical quality control procedures, evaluate results, and complete reports.

Job description

Our client is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting production teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality, the ability to follow documented procedures, and a detail-focused mindset that helps ensure products meet required standards.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Easton, PA

Pay Range: $24

Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

What's the Job?

  • Support the established Quality policy and fulfill responsibilities as required in the documented quality system manual, directives, and work instructions.
  • Select products and prepare samples for tests at specified stages in the production process, then test products for dimensions, performance, and mechanical or chemical characteristics per required standards.
  • Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, and/or material characteristics per required standards.
  • Assure 100% compliance to all applicable standards, including ASTM, NSF, UL, and others as required.
  • Record test data, apply statistical quality control procedures, evaluate results, and complete reports to validate compliance or indicate deviations from existing standards.

  • Ability to operate within a documented quality system and follow work instructions accurately.
  • Experience performing destructive and nondestructive testing and interpreting results against required standards.
  • Strong attention to detail for recording test data, completing reports, and preparing graphs or charts for analysis.
  • Comfort working with production teams to raise concerns to management when quality issues arise and support operators in solving quality problems.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as required, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and follow safety policies and procedures (including operating a lift truck as required).
