Position Overview

The Quality Control Technician will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements. This individual will perform inspections, verify measurements, document results, and partner with internal teams to identify and resolve quality issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection tools
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation
• Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and quality documentation
• Identify non-conforming materials or products and assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Collaborate with production, management, and customer-facing teams to resolve quality concerns efficiently
• Support customer inquiries related to product quality and compliance
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, efficiency, and process consistency
• Help ensure adherence to company procedures, ISO standards, and applicable regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years of quality control or inspection experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience inspecting molded, machined, or precision components strongly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment
• Strong attention to detail with effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using computer systems for reporting, documentation, and data entry
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience in plastics, injection molding, aerospace, ISO, or AS9100 environments is highly valued
