Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality control, inspection, manufacturing, fabrication, or electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team-leading experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and inspection tools; familiarity with QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to Quality Control Inspectors across fabrication and assembly inspection areas.
• Coordinate inspection assignments and priorities based on production needs and customer requirements.
• Set expectations for inspection quality, documentation, communication, attendance, and safety.
• Support onboarding and training of new inspectors and reinforce qualification practices.
• Oversee first-piece, in-process, and final inspection activities.
• Ensure inspections meet engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Review inspection records for accuracy and traceability.
• Assist with complex inspections and escalation decisions within authority.
• Promote proper use of inspection equipment and calibration compliance.
• Address nonconformances and drive timely containment and resolution.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Production to ensure product flow and containment.
