Job summary

Cleaveland/Price, located in Trafford, PA, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector I - Fabrication to verify fabricated parts and assemblies before they advance in production. This role requires precise measurement, ability to read engineered drawings, and clear cross-shift communication.

You will use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other tools to perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections; document findings; report nonconformances; and assist in root cause analysis with Operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical QC training preferred.
• 1–3 years in quality control inspection in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and MI's.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication QC Inspection: use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Conduct first piece, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated parts.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
• Report nonconformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure all inspected products meet quality standards and customer specs.
• Communicate inspection results clearly to shifts and departments.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and other teams to resolve issues.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and overall product quality.
