Cleaveland Price in Trafford, PA seeks a Quality Control Inspector I - Fabrication for the 2nd shift. You will inspect fabricated parts and assemblies before they move to production, using precision measuring tools and read engineered drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical QC training preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in QC inspection in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and MI's.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus.
• Proficient with MS Office and documentation/reporting.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of QC standards and testing techniques.
• Ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Conduct first piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Document inspection results and maintain records.
• Report nonconformances and assist in corrective actions.
• Ensure inspected products meet quality standards and customer specs.
• Communicate inspection results clearly to shifts and departments.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and overall product quality.
