Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or related field.
• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Knowledge of quality systems, gauging, and close tolerance measurement.
• Ability to analyze, identify, and solve problems.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and inspection processes.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Quality Inspection team and oversee daily operations.
• Coordinate inspection activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery, cost, and safety.
• Develop training materials and facilitate training for inspection personnel.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues.
• Manage workforce activities including timekeeping and overtime control.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching.
• Maintain and report inspection metrics and performance data.
• Lead daily huddle board meetings and communication activities.
• Ensure implementation and sustainment of 5S practices within assigned areas.
• Ensure compliance with PEI procedures and train team members accordingly.
• Facilitate communication between Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve issues and align expectations.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Enforce safety procedures and address safety concerns promptly.
• Complete required reports and documentation as assigned by the Quality Manager.
• Perform assigned duties in accordance with documented procedures and work instructions.
