At TelCom Construction, as a Quality Control Supervisor, you'll be responsible for ensuring the Company’s Quality Control standards are maintained across your assigned geographical area, with proper documentation and adherence to established standards in a timely manner. Your duties include supervising Quality Control Technicians and Inspectors, ensuring deficiencies are documented and communicated, and verifying corrections through follow-up and work order sign-off.

What you’ll do as a Quality Control Supervisor

• Manage work schedules for Quality Control Technicians and Inspectors to meet goals and deadlines
• Supervise daily activities of Quality Control staff
• Understand customer standards and train staff accordingly
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards
• Perform technician and inspector functions as needed
• Coordinate with EHS Department on damage claims
• Prepare for and participate in audits and inspections
• Handle employee documentation and development with HR
• Travel as required; other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Associate’s degree in a utility construction-related field and 3-5 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Knowledge of utility prints, specs, and units
• Ability to read and understand instructions and contract language
• Effective communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset
• Proficient in computer use, especially internet and Google applications
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Flexible hours including overtime and weekends
• Current DOT health card
• Valid driver’s license; Class A preferred
