At TelCom Construction, as a Quality Control Supervisor, you'll be responsible for ensuring the Company’s Quality Control standards across your assigned geographic area are met and documented according to established protocols. Your duties include supervising Quality Control Technicians and Inspectors, ensuring deficiencies are properly documented and communicated, and verifying corrections through follow-up and work order sign-off.

What you’ll do as a Quality Control Supervisor

• Manage work schedules for your team to meet goals and deadlines
• Supervise daily activities of Technicians and Inspectors
• Understand and train staff on customer standards and quality requirements
• Conduct virtual and in-person site inspections to ensure quality
• Perform Technician and Inspector functions as needed
• Coordinate with EHS for property and utility damage claims
• Prepare for and participate in audits and inspections professionally
• Handle employee documentation and development efforts
• Travel as required
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Associate's degree in a utility construction-related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Knowledge of utility prints, specs, and units
• Ability to understand instructions and contract language
• Effective communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset
• Proficient in computer software, especially Google applications
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends
• Current DOT health card
• Valid driver’s license; Class A preferred

Work Environment/Physical Demands
