Job description

DP World North America is a growing global contract logistics provider with operations in over 40 countries at 95 sites within Automotive and Technology divisions. We operate highly complex and technical 4-walled warehouses for our global clients.

Quality Supervisor will ensure that the services provided by DP World meet the highest standards of quality. This is a completely remote role and requires travel to DPW sites across North America.

About the Role

How you will contribute

1. Administer all reports and documentation related to assigned processes, such as PFMEAs, PPAP, operator instructions, and Control Plans. Generate, interpret, and analyze management tools, graphs, reports, etc., and communicate findings to team members as required.
2. Assist in designing and developing irreversible corrective actions for known problems.
3. Coordinate implementation of build changes, NCOs, etc., with production personnel.
4. Maintain a professional level of service to all internal and external customers and staff.
5. Develop recommendations for cost-benefit initiatives, document enhancements, and assist in planning and implementation to achieve results.
6. Provide technical advice within the organization, investigate problems, and provide solutions. Plan and execute special assignments/projects as required.
7. Champion ISO efforts to gain and maintain certification.
8. Manage quality personnel, including auditors, by assigning work, training, coaching, and monitoring performance. Interact with staff and customer representatives.
9. Lead management review meetings.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• College degree with a technical background is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in an automotive or logistics environment working in quality.
• Knowledge of standards such as ISO 9001 and 14001.
• Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both written and oral, to engage with internal and external customers.
