Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to lead MDR investigations, perform process audits, and analyze data for quality improvements. You’ll work as part of the Quality Department on the shop floor, ensuring nonconforming material is addressed promptly and accurately.

The role requires independent work, strong attention to detail, and experience with ERP/quality systems such as Epicor or SAP; familiarity with metal building products is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications.
• Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis for reporting and trending.

Responsibilities

• Own MDR investigations and drive root-cause analysis to closure on customer complaints.
• Monitor daily processes and perform quality audits of defined checks.
• Assist with addressing internal quality issues and data gathering for reports.
• Analyze data to support process improvements and corrective actions with owners.
