Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Midland, TN is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead OpEx and quality systems at our Midway facility. You will build and strengthen processes that drive continuous improvement, quality audits, and supplier collaboration to elevate product excellence.

You will mentor engineers and technicians, apply TPS principles, and partner with site peers to move priorities forward while delivering measurable performance gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Op Ex, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years building and leading process focused systems in manufacturing, fabrication, or distribution.
• Working knowledge of TPS and modern quality systems thinking.
• A track record of working independently and driving solutions with minimal oversight.
• Experience building supplier and customer quality processes from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Build an Op Ex system that thrives on continuous improvement and ingrains itself in our manufacturing environment
• Build a quality system that shifts us from inspecting for quality to auditing for it, making continuous improvement part of everyday work.
• Lead process engineering across billet preheating, extrusion, anodizing, fabrication & finishing, shaping how we make product every day.
• Lead and coach a team of engineers and techs, building a culture of ownership, engagement, and collaborative problem solving.
• Strengthen inbound supply chain quality through structured audits and clear supplier feedback, working toward Certificates of Conformance with trusted vendors.
• Champion a zero defect standard for outbound quality so every product that leaves our facility meets the mark.
• Extend process and quality support into our manufacturing operation, including all aspects of the shop floor business.
• Partner with peer managers across the site to solve problems together and keep priorities moving.
• Apply TPS principles to strengthen fabrication and manufacturing processes while staying visible and engaged onthe floor.
