Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to coordinate and audit documentation on entries, assist and maintain quality & accuracy of import entries, handle missing information requests, and ensure data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers in acquiring the proper import documentation.
• Review Certificates of Origin and other documentation to confirm eligibility to Free Trade programs.
• Analyze and update PGA records in entries and database with knowledge of PGA reporting requirements.
• Audit assigned files to ensure accuracy and instructions are followed.
• Work with operations department in maintaining client database.
• Assist team leader in training of team members as assigned.
• Service clients and reporting of any issues to Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Ensures all shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations.
• Support as required in all Departmental Operations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Physical Demands

• Occasionally bend, squat, kneel, reach above shoulder, and frequently sit, handle objects (manual dexterity), use fine finger movement.
• Occasionally must carry/lift loads of up to 15 lbs.
• Frequently read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason and analyze.
