Job summary

Outside The Box, LLC seeks a dual-role Quality Control Manager / Site Safety Health Officer (QCM/SSHO) to supervise QC testing, safety programs, and government submittals on complex construction projects in the South Carolina area. The role enforces EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards, coordinates with subcontractors, and leads safety meetings.

The candidate will review plans, manage safety compliance, and train staff to sustain high-quality work while reducing incidents on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• USACE CQM certification required.
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification.
• EM 385-1-1 40 hour certification.
• Corps of Engineer Quality Control Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily quality control reports and submittals.
• Conduct daily QC inspections ensuring plans meet specs.
• Lead safety meetings and coordinate with Government inspectors.
• Oversee QA/QC testing and manage defect tracking.
• Maintain site safety plans and SOH program compliance.
• Direct testing activities across production cycles.
• Review and approve contractor quality plans.
