Job summary

United Employment Group, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager for Architectural & Structural Precast. This leadership role owns the QC department, building and running the quality program across production, finishing, patching and mix design.

You will report to the Operations Manager and drive preventative quality across the floor. You will lead QC for architectural/structural precast, develop concrete mix designs, manage samples and mock-ups, and prepare for PCI audits.

Qualifications

• PCI Level III certification required or can obtain it.
• Hands-on experience with architectural precast mix design.
• Proven QC leadership in precast or prestressed plants.
• Continuous improvement mindset and standards leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead all QC activity for architectural and structural precast products, including inspection, sampling, and testing.
• Develop and submit concrete mix designs, and manage the sample and mock-up process.
• Run pre-pour and post-pour inspections, embed checks, and fresh/cured concrete testing.
• Oversee daily stressing operations and patching quality.
• Prepare the plant for its semi-annual PCI audits.
• Hire, train, and develop the QC team, working with production and engineering to prevent issues before they happen.

I'm working with an established precast producer that's looking for a Quality Control Manager to own its QC department. This is a leadership role with real autonomy: you'll build and run the quality program across production, finishing, patching, and mix design, and you'll report directly to the Operations Manager.
