Job summary

Gator Dredging is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead QC for marine construction and dredging projects. The role focuses on implementing the Quality Control Plan, coordinating with operations, and ensuring compliance with USACE and state agency requirements.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in QC on USACE projects, CAD/HYPACK proficiency, and relevant certifications. Travel is required for extended project durations; the position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in QC or QC-related role, preferably on USACE projects.
  • Ability to read/analyze engineering plans and specs.
  • Knowledge of marine construction, surveying, and coastal engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement the Quality Control Plan (QCP) for federal and coastal projects.
  • Prepare QCP and related technical documents.
  • Manage input to USACE RMS and coordinate with operations and survey teams.
  • Analyze data and reports; provide technical recommendations to site staff.
  • Travel to project sites for 3–12 month periods; ensure daily QC practices and inspections.
