A leading dredging company located in Orange, Texas, is seeking a Quality Control professional. In this role, you will manage quality control plans for various coastal engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in quality control, knowledge of engineering principles, and proficiency in relevant software tools. Qualifications
3 years’ experience minimum in QC or QC related position, preferably actual QCM on USACE project.
Ability to operate or learn how to operate hand-held GPS RTK rover.
Must maintain a valid Driver’s license.
Responsibilities
Managing technical construction aspects of marine and coastal engineering projects.
Provide technical recommendations to onsite staff and management.
Resolving technical conflicts that arise during projects.
Skills
Knowledge of principles and practices of marine construction
Ability to read and interpret engineering plans
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills for use and care of engineering tools
3 years’ experience in QC or QC related position
