Job summary

LRS Federal, a veteran-owned construction management and facility engineering firm, seeks a National Construction Quality Control (CQC) Manager for federal projects across the United States. The role supports mechanical, electrical, and project engineers to ensure renovation and modernization activities meet contract requirements and standards.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in building construction/renovation, hands-on EM 385-1-1 and OSHA knowledge, and prior USACE experience.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong analytical thinking and clear communication.
• Ability to review construction submittals and assess workmanship.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in daily reporting.
• Experience solving field issues and proposing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect contractor work on-site and review submittals, documenting findings.
• Review materials/equipment for compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA, logging RMS entries.
• Monitor contractor methods and advise Government personnel of non-compliance.
• Analyze project schedules using MS Project and Primavera P6 for critical path impacts.
