As a Quality Control Manager (QCM), you will lead implementation and execution of a comprehensive project‑specific quality control program from notice of award through final completion. You will play a critical role in ensuring every aspect of the work meets contract requirements, owner expectations, and Absher’s standards for excellence, particularly on complex federal, government, and infrastructure projects.
This role is ideal for a construction professional who brings deep technical expertise, strong field presence, and a passion for getting it right the first time.
You bring hands‑on construction knowledge, sound technical judgment, and a disciplined approach to managing quality on complex projects. You know how to anticipate problems before they become issues, hold a high bar for execution, and work collaboratively to deliver successful outcomes.
This job may be performed in the office or on the jobsite and requires frequent sitting (often working on a computer), frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching. Heavy lifting may be needed; the employee should be able to lift items up to 40lbs. Due to computer usage, there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists. He/she must be able to navigate the jobsite and is expected to be able to comply with all safety regulations in the office and on the jobsite.
