Job summary

Innovative Consulting & Management Services (ICMS) is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the contractor's quality control program for a Fort Gordon-based project.   • Assist in training and transition activities and participate in quality audits.

ICMS is looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager who is responsible for the contractor's quality control program.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective Quality Control Program documented in a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure services are performed in accordance with PWS.
  • Develop and implement procedures to identify and prevent recurrence of defective services
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of services listed in the PWS
  • Submit the QCP to the KO for acceptance within 30 calendar days after award and submit proposed changes five working days prior to implementation
  • Identify performance deficiencies and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Track deficiencies through completion and verify corrective actions have been successfully implemented.
  • Prepare quality control reports, inspection logs, corrective action reports, and trend analyses.
  • Monitor compliance with all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements and performance metrics.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Assist in developing employee training programs related to quality standards and contract compliance.
  • Participate in transition planning, startup activities, and quality audits.
  • Maintain records required by the contract for Government review.
  • Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Facilities Management, Quality Management, Environmental Services, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must have minimum of 5 years of experience performing quality control management functions in a Public Works base operations contract environment.
  • Experience to include, but not limited to managing the overall quality program, deficiency identification/correction, and analyzing performance data to correct and improve performance.
  • Experience managing or inspecting multiple facility service disciplines, such as: HVAC/mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Building maintenance, Preventive maintenance, Work order management, and Environmental and safety compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
Licenses and Certifications:
  • A valid state’s driver's license (with no major infractions) is required
  • OSHA 30-Hour training
  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification preferred but not required preferred

Minimum investigation at a Public Trust level required.

Job Type:

Full-Time Onsite Position (Telecommute not considered for this position)

Work schedules are subject to change based on client and company needs. As a management position, this person will be on call regularly and be available for and respond to emergencies off shift.

*This is a contingent hire position based upon the award of contract.
