Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Manager of Quality Control at our Clinton site to lead a high-performing team, ensure analytical result integrity, and drive long-term quality plans with regulatory compliance.

You will oversee testing, release, and manufacturing support across lab operations, fostering stakeholder relationships and implementing strategic objectives to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (Science-related field preferred).
• Progressive leadership experience with a demonstrated track record in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Laboratory Operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, sourcing, and microbiology, with the ability to manage complexity through strategic planning and tactical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a clear strategic vision for QC operations to maximize laboratory capability and maintain a competitive edge.
• Lead and develop a team of 5-12 department personnel, overseeing talent management, bench strength, and performance accountability.
• Anticipate and prevent quality or regulatory issues by overseeing testing, inspection, and material release for manufacturing, packaging, and stability.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships to ensure the delivery of customer needs while balancing compliance and operational productivity.
• Drive strategic planning and yearly objective setting to meet evolving business needs and quality standards.
