Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Quality Control Lead to head a team of technicians and inspectors. This role involves hands-on QC duties, coordinating information with outside agencies, and ensuring on-site quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate has a safety-first mindset, a high school diploma or equivalent, and QC training (NPCA PQS1, ACI CFTT grade 1, ACI CSTT). Knowledge of QC manuals and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent vocational training/certification.
• Completed Quality Control training including NPCA PQS1, ACI CFTT grade 1 and ACI CSTT.
• Ability to read and understand Quality Control manuals and training packages.
• Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Experience scheduling and coordinating with outside agencies for transparency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates samples of incoming materials.
• Performs pre and post pour measurement checks on precast parts.
• Inspects cages, forms and parts in process and finished stages.
• Tests samples using cylinder break machine.
• Distributes reports and tests to stakeholders.
• Ensures QC techs follow standards and escalate as needed.
