Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Quality Control Lead to head a team of QC technicians and inspectors. The role involves hands-on duties, coordinating information with outside agencies, and ensuring quality across materials and precast parts.

You will evaluate samples, perform measurements, test processes, and generate reports while maintaining safety and compliance standards. This position offers growth within a leading North American provider of infrastructure products.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent Vocational Training/Certification.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Completed Quality Control training including NPCA PQS1, ACI CFTT grade 1 and ACI CSTT.
• Ability to read and understand Quality Control manuals and training packages.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates samples of incoming materials.
• Performs pre and post pour measurement checks on precast parts.
• Inspects cages, forms and parts in process and finished stages.
• Uses cylinder break machine to test samples.
• Distributes reports and tests as necessary.
• Uses hand measurement tools like calipers and dial gauges.
• Pull samples from floor and track results.
• Ensure QC techs follow standards and escalate issues when needed.
