Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in the United States is seeking a dedicated quality control technician for an industrial manufacturing environment. You will perform routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products, ensuring compliance and documenting results.

The role requires a high school diploma, QC experience, and readiness to obtain ACI/PCI credentials within 3 months if not already certified; occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in related industry.
• ACI/PCI Certification preferred, or required to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification.
• Basic computer and tablet skills.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.
• Some travel required for trainings and certifications (less than 10%).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Pipe patching and assisting pipe crew during setup and pouring.
• Report to management on process improvements and quality concerns.
• Oversee a small team of individuals.
• Receive and file raw material reports for documentation.
• Coordinate with State DOT agencies, ACI, NPCA.
