Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead a shift and ensure safe, on-time production of high-quality printed circuit boards for diverse customers.

The role directs QA/QC activities, trains and motivates production staff, maintains compliance with manufacturing standards, and drives continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration with operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
• Problem solving and resolution aptitude.
• Recommend and implement improvements to processes increasing efficiency.
• Mathematical ability sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and figure averages.
• Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in group meetings and discussions.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety, quality & compliance among the team while maintaining GMP-like practices.
• Enable a culture of Operational Excellence throughout the production line/area cross-functional team.
• Ensure effective two way communication within the production line/area cross-functional team.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Ensure daily production goals are met.
• Communicate with Director of Operations and Production Managers to maintain workflow and notify of employee concerns.
• Study production schedules and estimate completion of job timelines.
• Dispatch personnel and equipment in all situations.
• Manage, motivate, develop and involve production associates through coaching and performance management.
• Foster teamwork within the production line/area cross-functional team.
• Embed the company values through demonstration & recognition of individual & team behaviors.
• Effective recruitment, selection, training of new employees.
• Schedules and assigns work within the unit to regulate workflow and meet required schedules.
• Provides technical assistance and supervision throughout the unit.
• Orders necessary supplies to perform jobs within the unit.
• Ensures proper maintenance of unit equipment and tools.
• Performs and/or assists in special projects as assigned.
