Job summary

Crystal Group, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the independent inspection team and ensure inspections follow approved requirements and records. The role includes coaching staff, managing schedules, and coordinating with Quality Engineers to maintain product integrity.

Responsibilities include performance reviews, resource allocation, and escalation of issues, with a strong focus on data-driven metrics and continual improvement in a high-mix manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality, manufacturing, engineering, business, science, or related field.
• 5-7 years of quality control/inspection experience in regulated manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor the independent inspection team.
• Set goals and conduct performance reviews with approved processes.
• Manage schedules, attendance, and paid time off within authority.
• Own onboarding, training, and cross-training for Quality Inspectors.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineers and other functions to ensure compliance.
• Monitor inspection metrics, backlog aging, and hold coverage.
• Approve records and release conforming product within authority.
