Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Engineer to support inspection, rework coordination, and daily customer communication for installation-site quality activities. This role leads a small pod of Quality/Process Technicians and a Test Technician, leveraging CAPA and defect insights to guide inspections and ensure accountability for quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and comfortable owning daily execution rhythms, reporting, and collaboration with manufacturing

Qualifications

3+ years experience in Quality Engineering or quality-focused leadership in manufacturing or deployment environments.
1+ year experience with CAPA processes, defect trending, and structured inspection methodologies.
1+ year experience leading or coordinating technician teams (direct or indirect).

Responsibilities

Lead a pod of Quality/Process Technicians and a Test Technician onsite.
Coordinate inspections, rework, and daily quality activities at installation sites.
Apply CAPA insights and defect trends to guide inspections and decisions.
Serve as primary liaison between the customer site and internal manufacturing and engineering teams.
