Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Quality Control Lead to supervise QC technicians and inspectors on-site. You will evaluate materials, perform tests, and coordinate with outside agencies to ensure compliance with standards and provide timely reporting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year related experience, and QC training such as NPCA PQS1, ACI CFTT grade 1, and ACI CSTT. Proficiency with MS Office and QA tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent vocational training/certification.
• At least 1 year related experience (preferred).
• Completed QC training including NPCA PQS1, ACI CFTT grade 1 and ACI CSTT.
• Ability to read QC manuals and training packages well enough to explain them to outside agencies and peers when required.
• Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Experience scheduling and coordinating with outside agencies for QC transparency.
• Proficient with MS Office, Teams, Krinkle, Command Batch and SmartSheet.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. by yourself or with a team lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates samples of incoming materials
• Assists with and performs pre and post pour measurement checks on precast parts
• Inspects cages, forms and parts while in process and finished stages
• Uses cylinder break machine to test samples
• Distributes reports and tests as necessary
• Uses hand measurement tools including calipers, dial gauges, etc.
• Performs quality control checks
• Pulls samples from floor
• Ensures QC techs and inspectors follow standards and escalates when necessary to supervisor/manager
• Other duties as needed
