Job summary

CRH is hiring a QC Technician for Oldcastle Infrastructure. The role ensures quality product daily, working closely with the Plant Engineer, Sales, and Production, performing inspections and testing across the production process.

Meticulous attention to multiple products in tight timeframes is essential. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and quality control experience; ACI certification is preferred or can be earned within 3 months, with the potential to grow into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Quality control experience in related industry preferred.
• ACI Certification preferred, or must pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification.
• Must be able to get any required certifications within 1 year.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read/write simple instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically and communicate effectively with team.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Pour inspections on product prior to pouring (Reinforcing, insert and hole locations, etc).
• Perform Post-Pour inspections on product ensuring it is ready for the customer.
• Represent the customer inside our factory.
• Test Concrete and raw materials as needed.
• Lead QC meetings and follow up on Corrective Actions.
• Organize all documentation.
• Coordinate with production on all schedule changes and errors.
• Assist in conducting QA Audits.
• Train plant employees on concrete technology and QC requirements.
