Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle Infrastructure is hiring a Quality Control Lead to direct a team of QC technicians and inspectors. This hands-on role involves coordinating information with outside agencies, managing on-site testing, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

You will evaluate material samples, perform pre/post pour checks, and use measurement devices while maintaining safety and accuracy. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered within CRH’s family of companies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus QC training.
• At least 1 year of related QC experience.
• Ability to read and explain QC manuals and training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates samples of incoming materials
• Assists with and performs pre and post pour measurement checks on precast parts
• Inspects cages, forms and parts while in process and finished stages
• Uses cylinder break machine to test samples
• Distributes reports and tests as necessary
• Uses hand measurement tools to include calipers, dial gauges, etc.
• Performs quality control checks
• Pull samples from floor
• Ensure QC Techs and Inspectors follow standards and escalate when needed
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
