Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, seeks a Quality Control Technician to support concrete product testing in an indoor/outdoor manufacturing setting. You will perform compressive-strength checks on hardened specimens, conduct routine pour inspections, and monitor production to ensure quality.

The role includes leading a small team, documenting material reports, and coordinating with state agencies. ACI/PCI certification is preferred or obtainable within 3 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in related industry required.
• ACI / PCI Certification preferred, or must pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification.
• Basic computer and tablet skills.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate with team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Patch, setup, and pour pipes with the pipe crew as needed.
• Report quality concerns and process improvements to management.
• Oversee a team of 3-4 individuals.
• Receive and file raw material reports for documentation.
• Coordinate with State DOT agencies, ACI, NPCA.
