Granite Construction Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager to implement and manage the QC program on a Large Federal Project. You will ensure all operations meet contractual standards through inspections, testing, and documentation, and serve as the liaison for customers and regulators.

The role requires strong leadership, at least 5–10 years of QC experience, knowledge of EM 385-1-1, OSHA, MSHA, and relevant certifications. On-site work and compliance with safety standards are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of construction quality control experience for candidates with a Bachelor's degree OR 10 years of construction experience, including 5 years in QC roles for candidates without a degree.
• Must have completed the Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors course. If certification is not current, complete within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1, OSHA, and MSHA safety regulations.
• Certifications from ASQ or ISO are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Quality Control Program Management: Establish and maintain an effective QC system to ensure contract compliance.
• Personnel & Team Management: Manage QC personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Project Oversight & Compliance: Maintain a physical presence at the work site and oversee QC engineers and inspection staff.
• Technical & Regulatory Support: Provide technical support for proposals, construction, and post-construction phases; maintain QC documentation.
• Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain relationships with government agencies, subcontractors, and technical staff.
